How Not to Package your Returns

What follows are photos of one box of weapons returned to us. There were others, all badly packaged and handled roughly, to say the least, but this one is fairly representative of all of the boxes.

The boxes were treated roughly, to be sure, but the majority of the damage occurred because the shipper re-used boxes that were torn open and did nothing more to seal the rips than wind tape around the box in one place.

The other big mistake was just shoving the swords into the boxes without covering the tips, quillons and any other pointed part of the sword, resulting in the blades poking through the cardboard.

It is always recommended that you open the boxes carefully, retain all of the packing materials and repack the boxes in the same manner that they arrived.

This is how it arrived to our door. Note the fragile sticker.

This is why we cover sword points when shipping and urge our customers to do the same.

Not sure how the weapons even made it back!
