Shipping costs are not included. DISCOUNTS For large orders, lengthy rental periods, non-profit organizations, and loyal customers we will be more than happy to work with you and your budget. Feel free to contact us with your specific inquiries. SHIPPING Preferred Arms is based in the Washington D.C. metro area. The best way to pick up and return weapons to us is in person. Besides saving on shipping costs and packaging hassles, you get to see and handle the weapons up close! If you are outside of the D.C. area we will be glad to have them shipped to you via UPS ground. You cover the actual cost of getting it packed up, insured and sent to you, nothing more. We can also rush shipments at he rates established by UPS. See UPS quick cost calculator for average costs on shipping. Upon receiving payment in full for rental, shipping and deposit, we send them out immediately. DEPOSIT In addition to the rental fee, we require a deposit equal to the amount of the total rental cost (minimum of $100). The deposit check is returned to you as soon as all weapons are safely returned to us in satisfactory condition*. See also a copy of our waiver. *We do expect a certain amount of wear and tear on the weapons; they are used for combat after all! What is NOT satisfactory are broken, rusted or heavily nicked weapons, missing hilt wrappings or other parts, modifications to the weapons (welding, excessive grinding or filing of blades), and so on. Following the simple care guidelines included with every order should ensure that every deposit is returned in full. METHOD OF PAYMENT We accept US Money Orders, Cashier's Checks or Company Checks (from schools, theatre companies, etc.). All checks should be made out to Preferred Arms. "We will rent no weapon that we would not personally use ourselves." |
